New Class Dates and exciting news about Grant Programs!

Hello from the Blue Collar Cooperative!

We hope you are having a wonderful holiday season and enjoying time with family and friends. We wanted to share with you our new class schedule for January and February and also let you know about some new things that we are involved with. To find all the details for our January and February classes, check out the list below.

We are happy to share that The Blue Collar Cooperative has been approved with several student funding programs in Idaho. For those families enrolled with Tech Trep Academy, we wanted to confirmed that our classes fall under their supplemental learning funds. There are other programs in Idaho that are similar to Tech Trep, and though we have yet to officially confirm with those programs, we would be happy to work with you to see if their funding would also cover our classes.

Another exciting development is that we have also become approved vendors for the Empowering Parents Grant (for both last year’s grant and the new grant available for 2023-24). We value the opportunity to make our classes accessible to as many as we can, so if you have any questions about these programs, feel free to contact us.  

​Another service that we offer are classes that are tailored for small groups or families. If you are having trouble finding a class that suits your schedule and have 3 or more children and/or friends who want to do a class with us, reach out and we can try to arrange a time that works for you!

Here are the dates for our various classes:
Basic Woodworking - ages 10 and up
- January 5 & 12 2024 (from 4-6pm over two Fridays)
- February 7 & 14 2024 (from 2-4pm over two Wednesdays)

Basic Woodworking - ages 7 and up (Parent/Child)
- January 20 & 27 2024 (from 10am-12pm over two Saturdays)
- February 24 & March 2 (from 2-4pm over two Saturdays)

Basic Car Care (ages 13-17)
- January 10 & 17 2024 (4-6pm over two Wednesdays)
- January 31 & Feb 1 2024 (7-9pm over two consecutive nights)
- February 9 & 16 (2-4pm over two Fridays)
- February 28 & March 6 (4-6pm over two Wednesdays)
