Class Schedule for July - Sept 2024

We hope you are having a great Summer and staying cool in the soaring temperatures. We’ve had a wonderful start to our Summer classes and we are looking forward to more classes through the end of Summer and into Fall. Our new scheduling program, Schedulicity, has made it easier for everyone to sign up for classes and will be our new method of email communication when it comes to sharing updates on classes and events. If you would like to continue to receive our updates look out for an invite from Schedulicity and sign up, as we will be phasing out of our Mailchimp updates. Of course, you can always reach out to us at [email protected] any time (especially if you haven’t received this invite from Schedulicity).

​A new class we are offering is the Advanced Car Care class, which will help students go beyond “the basics” when taking care of their car. This new series is a great next step after taking our Basic Car Care class but can also be taken as a stand-alone class if you already have some familiarity with vehicles. We've had a number of parents sign up for classes through the Empowering Parents Grant this year and we plan to apply to be a vendor for the 2024-25 grant as soon as we are able. We value the opportunity to make our classes accessible to as many as we can, so if you have any questions about this or other funding programs, feel free to contact us.  

Another service that we offer are classes that are tailored for small groups or families. If you are having trouble finding class dates that suit your schedule, and have 3 or more children and/or friends who want to do a class with us, reach out and we can try to arrange a time that works for you!

Here are the dates for our upcoming classes:

Basic Woodworking - Youth (ages 10-17)
- September 10 & 17 (10am-12pm over two Tuesdays)

Basic Woodworking - Parent/Child (child aged 7+)
- July 20 & 27 2024 (10am-12pm over two Saturdays)
- August 17 & 24 (10am-12pm over two Saturdays)
- September 21 & 28 (10am-12pm over two Saturdays)

Basic Woodworking - Adult (ages 18+)
- August 21 & 28 (7-9pm over two Wednesdays)

Basic Car Care - Youth (ages 13-17)
- July 12 & 19 (2-4pm over two Fridays)
- July 25 & August 1 (10am-12pm over two Thursdays)
- August 6 & 13 (10am-12pm over two Tuesdays)

Advanced Car Care - Youth (ages 13-17)
- September 18 & 25 (4-6pm over two Wednesdays)
